The ILS 2017 Scientific Meeting will be held in Palmerston North, New Zealand from Monday, 27 November thru Friday, 1 December 2017. The theme of the conference is Science for People.

The ILS Scientific Meeting will be followed by three practical WORKSHOPS designed to provide training and hands-on experience on:
•Epidemiology
•Microbiology
•Genomics

The Congress “80 Anniversary of the Institute of Tropical Medicine Pedro Kourí", 9th National Congress of Microbiology and Parasitology, 6th National Congress of Tropical Medicine and International Symposium on HIV/aids infection in Cuba, will be held from 5 to 8 December 2017 at the Havana International Conference Center. This congress will provide an opportunity for updating, exchange of experiences and knowledge on the role of the microbiology and parasitology in addressing infectious diseases, emerging and re-emerging and neglected tropical diseases. The Gordon Research Conference on the Biology of Spirochetes will be held in Ventura, California on January 21-26, 2018. The theme of the meeting will be Spirochete Biology in the Host and in the Wild!
